Please avert your eyes from the mystakes

(10/6/07) This is a piece I've been painting for the past two "evens"- this is actually on a larger canvas. It's my good hermit Marick Caelepher- sitting about alone in the woods waiting for his demise.

<sub>For his while, he'd been a contentful eremite: living alone to contemplate things so that one day he could become a scholar- or a divine sort of doctor.
He was kicked out of his cabin yesterday. The matter being- the place in which he lived was a comfortable wood within a large refuge he was later not to be accepted- with the case of rumours. He was suspected of being “corruptible” as he was the last sort of their kind with a pair of fangs- a trait the majority of their ancestors had whom of which were doomed an unforgivable fate. They gave him three days to leave the boundaries outside the city- before he would be hunted and brutally murdered (as stated by Marick‘s least favourite friend).

Though a majority did love and appreciate him- it was either him or them, so the elders told him to leave. Apparently- Marick hadn’t a hope of living outside the refuge. It was certain that he should lose his mind, or die within a particular year....

An eremite is a person who secludes themselves for religious reasons. Also called a hermit.
